2025 will be an exciting year for the Edelman—Gardner Cancer Research Foundation. We are thrilled to announce some changes, including a rebranding with a new logo and adding two additional members to the board of directors. We are committed to enhancing our support for cancer research, and planning fundraisers while staying current in our efforts is essential. In 2025, we will provide more opportunities for researchers to showcase their work at our fundraising events.
Short Bios on our new directors. Please join me in welcoming Margaret Burritt and Tiffany Paine-Cirrincione.
Margaret Burritt
We are excited to announce that Margarett Burritt was nominated and accepted a position on the Edelman-Gardner Cancer Research Foundation Board of Directors in October 2024.
A resident of Hilton Village, Margaret has been actively involved in various fundraisers for Edelman-Gardner for many years, beginning her journey as a server at the Arlington restaurant.
Currently, Margaret works as a personal assistant, where her organizing, scheduling, and planning skills are essential. She brings these crucial abilities and more to the Edelman-Gardner Board of Directors. We aim to achieve and give more, and we are counting on Margarett’s enthusiasm to help us reach that vision.
Margaret contributes innovative ideas, and as a dedicated community member, her honesty helps guide our decisions. For example, she has enlisted the help of her niece, a marketing professional, to assist in rebranding the foundation with a new logo. Margaret is a proactive contributor and is exactly what we need to move forward.
We are thrilled to have her on our team. Please join us in welcoming Margaret!
Tiffany Paine Cirrincione
We are excited to announce that in October of 2024, Tiffany Paine-Cirrincione was nominated and accepted a position on the Edelman-Gardner Cancer Research Foundation Board of Directors.
You may remember Tiffany from her previous role as our liaison to the Wilmot Cancer Institute. Since then, she has advanced in her career and is now the Director of Development and Communications for Joseph’s Neighborhood. Although she left Wilmot to further her career in service, her support for Edelman-Gardner was a constant. She continues to volunteer at our Ladies Golf Tournament and frequently partnered with former board member George Kauffman
Tiffany brings a diverse skill set to our organization and will manage our social media page and website. As a cancer survivor, she deeply understands the significance of research and has great respect for all our supporters and their contributions to our success. With extensive experience and strong connections in the community, Tiffany has a proven track record of organizing fundraisers to support cancer resources. Her passion for cancer research is inspiring and will drive us forward, enabling us to achieve even more in our mission.
We are thrilled to have them both join this incredible. Please join us in welcoming Margaret and Tiffany!
