I have been associated with the foundation since it’s legal conception in 1987 when I was first married to the founder George Edelman. I was involved in all the fun raising events like
Penny drives, golf tournaments, bowling tournaments, appliance raffles, bike and walk – a -thons;
and much more. I was not on the board at that time, but was very much involved in each and every
fund raiser we did.
As a member of the foundation, my goal is to take this foundation to the next level. George
wanted this to be a success and I want to continue to help to make his dreams come true.
